Fresh and Saltwater Fishing in Spain

Riumar lies in the subtropical Costa Dorada, approximately 180km south of Barcelona, on the very tip of the Ebro Delta National Nature Park, where the Ebro flows into the Mediterranean. It is a paradise for anglers, beach lovers, nature lovers and people just looking for a quiet location. It has a Blue Flag beach and there are several restaurants offering a wide range of cuisine.

The River Ebro offers phenomenal fishing. Plenty of food and excellent living conditions have ensured that there are large numbers of big catfish. You can also fish for Walleye, Harder, eel and Barbel.

Sea fishing in the Mediterranean is exceptional for Bluefin Tuna using spinning and trolling with the best time of year being mid-March to beginning of June and mid-July to mid-November. Bluefish are caught year round. You will also find Sea Bass from mid-April to mid-October and Mahi Mahi from mid-August to mid-November.

Blue Water Fishing in Madeira

Species includes:
White & Blue Marlin, Big Eye Tuna, Blue Fin Tuna, Yellow Fin Tuna, Spearfish, Dorado and Wahoo.
Trolling and bottom fishing can provide year round action depending on species sought. An offshore reef for bottom fishing produces Amberjacks, Red Snapper, Grouper, Goliath Grouper and Sting Ray. Gavita is a  25 foot Rodman 760 FLY with a 9 foot 6 inch beam built in 1991 and fully overhauled in 2015 operated by English skipper Graham Venters who has an excellent knowledge of the fishing out of top harbour at Calheta, close to the best action.
Graham prefers to fish 2 anglers but he can take up to a maximum of 4. See our website for further details. Tailor made itineraries to suit each group.

Fishing the Andaman Islands, India

We have a few places available to accompany angling expert, Dave Plummer, to the Andaman Islands. Good standards of accommodation, excellent guided fishing on well crewed boats. Surface popping and jigging plus bait fishing for a wide range of species including GT’s and tuna.

The Andaman Islands and Havelock in particular provide top fishing locations within a short distance of the harbour. Good standards of accommodation with a choice of bars and restaurants within a short walk ensure there is a relaxing atmosphere after an energetic days fishing.

Some tackle can be provided but in general clients take their own gear.
